Ipswich Town are preparing for life in the Premier League next season

Ipswich Town are back in the Premier League after earning automatic promotion this season.

Kieran McKenna’s side sealed their place in the top flight on the final day of the campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over QPR.

The Tractor Boys were relegated to the Championship last year, but have come straight back up at the first attempt.

Liam Delap

It has been reported by teamtTALK that Ipswich are interested in bringing Liam Delap back to Portman Road, just 12 months on from his move to Chelsea.

The forward is attracting a lot of interest, and it’s believed that the Tractor Boys are behind in the race for his signature.

Everton, Newcastle United, Brighton and Sunderland have all also been mentioned as possible destinations amid the forward’s struggles at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are reportedly open to his sale following confirmation that Xabi Alonso will be taking over as head coach in the summer.

Femi Azeez

Millwall forward Femi Azeez enjoyed a strong campaign under Alex Neil, which has led to him earning a lot of plaudits.

It was reported by Alan Nixon that the winger is a transfer target for the Tractor Boys, and that they value the player between £15 and 20 million.

However, a conflicting report emerged from journalist Stuart Watson that the Suffolk outfit will not be renewing their previous interest in the player this summer.

It was claimed during the January window that the Lions rejected an offer for Azeez.

Troy Parrott

Troy Parrott is reportedly on Ipswich’s shortlist of possible attacking signings this summer following their promotion to the Premier League.

The Irishman has earned a lot of credit for his performances for both AZ Alkmaar and the national team.

However, according to Sébastien Vidal, McKenna’s side faces competition from Coventry City in the race for his signature.

It has previously been reported that the Eredivisie outfit will be commanding a £25 million fee in order to sell Parrott amid interest from AC Milan.

CJ Egan-Riley

CJ Egan-Riley has emerged as a potential option for Ipswich just 12 months after his move to Marseille.

It has been reported by Foot Sur 7 that the defender is on the club’s shortlist following their promotion to the Premier League.

However, they face competition from Southampton, who are set to compete in the play-off final against Hull City.

Egan-Riley helped Burnley gain promotion to the Premier League last year before joining Marseille, but he has struggled for consistent game time in Ligue 1, which has opened the door for a possible return to English football.

Will Lankshear

Ipswich Town were interested in a deal for Will Lankshear during the January transfer window, but he ultimately remained with Oxford United for the remainder of the campaign as part of a loan agreement with Tottenham Hotspur.
