According to Sunderland Echo, Sunderland have launched a three-tier membership for 2026/27, on sale from 10am on July 14, with early joiners before 8pm on July 23 getting £10 off the pre-season streaming package.

Season Ticket Plus costs £20 for existing season-ticket holders, is optional, and adds entry to an away-ticket ballot drawn from 10% of each allocation, plus a mascot ballot for ages six to 12.

Black Cats Adult, £48, gives non-season-ticket holders access to home-ticket ballots and to the season-ticket waiting list. Black Cats Academy is £30 for the first child and £20 thereafter, mirroring those benefits and including the mascot ballot.

Members get first access to general-admission tickets via ballots, with any leftovers potentially reaching general sale. Given demand and another season-ticket sell-out, availability for non-members could be extremely limited. Ballot volumes and any general-sale proportions are still to be confirmed.

Season-ticket forwarding will continue. Current guidance is that one membership gives access to one ticket, and the process for linking group applications remains to be clarified.

Only season-ticket holders who buy Season Ticket Plus can enter away ballots. The Black Cat Points system continues, though the understanding is that 10% of every away allocation will be reserved for the Season Ticket Plus ballot. Further detail is needed on how ballot success affects individual points totals.

Europa League home plans are to be confirmed. There is currently no indication that Season Ticket Plus will be required for season-ticket holders, and Adult or Academy members can enter home ballots.
