Spain captain Álvaro Morata hasn’t quite carried his form from Spain over to his move to AC Milan, having scored just six goals in 26 appearances so far this season – a far cry from his 21 goals last season.
This drop in form has led to rumours of a premature departure for the 32-year-old, just over six months since he made the move from Atlético Madrid.
As per transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Morata has been linked with a move to Turkey, with Galatasaray being specifically touted as the destination.
Talks are said to be advanced between the two parties, and the move could be completed before the window slams shut tomorrow night.
AC Milan and Galatasaray have just over 24 hours to get negotiations completed, to complete a move which would see Morata play in the fourth country of his career.
Watch this space to see if the Turkish giants Galatasaray can get this move over the line in the next few hours.
