Liverpool women are set to play three WSL games at Anfield this season
Fans can enjoy live music, family fun and a special Q&A with Niamh Fahey ahead of the Barclays Women’s Super League showdown between Manchester City and Liverpool.
Supporters are encouraged to get behind the team for what promises to be a thrilling Barclays Women’s Super League clash between Liverpool FC Women and Manchester City. Tickets are available at affordable prices, with adults paying £12 and juniors just £5.
This weekend marks the second chapter of Liverpool’s Anfield trilogy for the season as the Reds host Andrée Jeglertz’ Manchester City side. The famous stadium will again provide a memorable backdrop as Liverpool aim to build on a strong start and delight their supporters with another energetic home performance.
Supporters arriving early can enjoy plenty of pre-match entertainment as the Fan Zone opens in the Kop Bar from 2.15pm. The area will be filled with activities designed to get everyone into the matchday mood.
A special highlight will be a live Q&A with Niamh Fahey, the former Reds captain who has just been announced as Liverpool’s first technical director. Fahey, who led the team through several key moments in recent seasons, will share insights into her new role and her journey with the club. It’s a great chance for fans to hear directly from someone who’s played such a big part in shaping Liverpool FC Women, both on and off the pitch.
Local musician Charlie Reader will also perform, bringing his trademark energy and connection with the crowd. To keep the fun going, Mighty Red will be around to meet supporters, take photos and put smiles on faces young and old.
There’ll be plenty more happening in the Fan Zone too, with face painting, games, competitions and the chance to win some special LFC prizes. It’s the perfect way to kick off an exciting matchday at Anfield, with something for everyone to enjoy before the action begins.
Turnstiles open at 2.45pm, giving fans time to take in the Anfield atmosphere before the action begins. From 3.30pm, Liverpool-based DJ and producer Katy Alex will perform a live set featuring her signature dance music to keep the energy high as kick-off approaches.
With football, music and family entertainment all in one place, Anfield will be buzzing as Liverpool FC Women face Manchester City in one of the standout fixtures of the Barclays Women’s Super League season. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy the entertainment and show their support for the Reds.
