Juve NextGen defender Pedro Felipe and Inter-owned Giacomo Stabile are among Avellino’s targets in the January transfer window.
Serie B side Avellino must decide whether to sign one or two young central defenders next month.
Last week, I reported on the interest in Alessandro Dellavalle, 22, who is currently on loan at Modena from Torino.
Avellino, however, are looking to two other targets, as sources with direct knowledge of the matter exclusively told me.
The players are Juventus NextGen Pedro Felipe, born in 2024, and Giacomo Stabile, born in 2005 and currently on loan at Juve Stabia from Inter.
Pedro Felipe is a physically imposing centre-back who has joined Juventus from Palmeiras and was called up to the first team for a home game against Milan this season.
His profile has been followed closely in Avellino, but Stabile is also another potential reinforcement.
Avellino will make their assessments in the coming weeks, and in the meantime, they have completed the signing of Marco Sala from Como, a necessary move to strengthen the left flank.
