Tottenham midfielder Tyrese Hall has agreed to a loan with Notts County.

Notts County are closing in on a season-long loan deal to sign Tyrese Hall from Tottenham, with sources informing Football League World on Monday evening that a deal has been agreed for the midfielder to link-up with the League Two outfit.

Hall, 19, is a product of the Tottenham academy and is yet to earn a taste of first-team football in North London.

Thomas Frank doesn't look set to use him in his debut campaign as Spurs gaffer either, which has opened up a loan opportunity that EFL sides have been exploring.

Notts County look to have won the race.

Sources have exclusively told Football League World that a deal is now agreed for Hall to head to Meadow Lane and join Notts County on a season-long loan from Tottenham.

That's after reports over the last few days that Hall had Championship, League One and League Two interest.

The 19-year-old has been a regular feature in the Spurs youth set-up over the last couple of seasons and has made a total of 26 Premier League 2 appearances for the Europa League winners, scoring five goals and registering a further seven assists in midfield, as well as captaining the side on occasions.

Hall's experience EFL-wise has come in the EFL Trophy, where he's made four appearances for Spurs, scoring in the 2-1 defeat to Swindon Town in November 2024.

The England youth international has featured alongside the likes of Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear in the Spurs U21 set-up and is highly-rated by the Premier League club.

Notts continue to build towards the end of the transfer window

We are into the final month of the transfer window now, and Notts County, like a lot of their League Two rivals, will be looking to make final additions to their squad in a bid for a successful campaign.

Hall will tick a box for Martin Paterson given the versatility he can offer in various midfield roles.

Notts are, of course, looking to build on last season's sixth-place finish in League Two. They were beaten play-off semi-finalists against AFC Wimbledon over two legs and are now looking to make it third time lucky as they bid to climb the EFL ladder into League One.

Paterson has replaced Stuart Maynard at Meadow Lane and begin the season with a 1-1 draw against Newport County at the weekend, as Jodi Jones' penalty in the 65th minute cancelled out Ged Garner's opener.
