Fabrizio Angileri registered by CBF, available for Corinthians | OneFootball

Fabrizio Angileri has been entered into the CBF’s BID system, clearing the 31-year-old to play for Corinthians.

According to Meu Timao, the club confirmed the update minutes after the registration appeared on Wednesday morning.

Talks over a new deal had dragged on since August, with finances preventing a resolution until early this year. Angileri had been a free agent since his contract expired on 31 December 2025.

Both sides softened their stance during the early window. Corinthians struggled to find a left-back on loan or without a fee, while Angileri did not agree terms elsewhere and stayed on their radar.

His new contract runs until 31 December 2026. He arrived last year after ending his deal with Getafe in Spain, made 42 appearances, and helped win the 2025 Paulistão and Copa do Brasil.

He has rejoined the squad and trained on Wednesday at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava. He is now eligible to re-debut, though involvement against Red Bull Bragantino on Thursday at 20:00 is uncertain as he had no pre-season and has not played since December.
