Despite having been one of the most exciting teams in Europe and Spain last season, FC Barcelona are quite active in the market as well, as they look to eliminate any lingering weaknesses in the team for the next season.
They have already signed the goalkeeper Joan Garcia, as they activated his €25 million release clause to get him from their bitter local rivals, RCD Espanyol.
Now, they are being closely linked with the winger Nico Williams, whose arrival would significantly strengthen the attack and provide more depth for this area of the team.

Both of these players, despite being young, are quite experienced and have played a lot of games in La Liga. But the Catalans are also keeping their eyes on some even younger talents, whom they would like to develop in their team.
One such player in the sights of Barcelona is Roony Bardghji. A recent report claimed that the Catalans are negotiating with FC Copenhagen for his signing, and an agreement between the two sides is expected to be completed in the upcoming few days.
Now, another update from the reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that the two clubs are planning to wrap up their negotiations in the next week, the beginning of July.
The report also reveals that Barcelona will pay €2 million fixed and some additional amount in add-ons. Copenhagen will also get to keep a sell-on clause on the forward.
The player is nicknamed ‘The Swedish Messi’, and this factor alone will excite the fans about his potential arrival at the Blaugrana club. However, they might not see him in action with the first team from the get-go, as he will, in principle, be a Barca Atletic player after his signing.
However, he will be called up frequently to train under Flick, and if his performances are satisfactory, he will get significant game time with the first team on the pitch.
