Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given his opinion on the comments made by Chelsea full back Marc Cucurella this week.

Cucurella’s comments took us all by storm, and Chelsea fans were generally very pleased to see a senior player coming out and saying negative things about owners, the project, and Liam Rosenior, whether directly or not.

Fabrizio Romano makes big claims over Nicolas Jackson.

As picked up by SPTC today, Romano said on Cucurella’s interview with The Athletic this week:

“These are not negative comments about Chelsea, but rather a message from a player who feels responsible and wants to push the project forward. Cucurella remains one of the voices of the dressing room, a smart player who knows exactly what he is saying and why.”

Not negative comments!? Sorry Romano, I deeply respect you, but that is WIDE of the mark! How can anyone even attempt to say these are not negative comments and against the club!? Of course they are! Stop trying to take the blame off BlueCo and onto the players….. PLEASE.

In other news today…

Chelsea have already made two new signings who are arriving in the summer, one winger and one striker. Although it’s being debated that they aren’t quite the ‘Estevao level’ of signings this week.

It’s also being claimed that Chelsea will now look to sign more ‘ready-made’ stars and are even looking to tweak their transfer model a bit in the wake of the criticism received from their own player, Marc Cucurella, earlier this week.
