Facundo Buonanotte ‘set to leave’ Brighton amid Schalke, Premier League and La Liga interest | OneFootball

Fabrizio Romano reports that Facundo Buonanotte is set to leave Brighton, with Schalke 04 having made a formal approach and clubs from the Premier League and La Liga interested.

The 21-year-old Argentina-capped attacking midfielder joined Leeds United on loan from Brighton in January for the rest of the season, but managed only 82 minutes across four appearances.

He came off the bench in January’s Premier League fixtures against Everton and Arsenal.

His only start arrived in February’s FA Cup tie at Birmingham City, where he struggled and was withdrawn at the break.

His final Leeds outing was 12 minutes as a substitute in the last game of the season at West Ham, after which he returned to Brighton, where he is contracted until the summer of 2028.
