Famalicao sign PSG teenager Mathis Jangéal on five-year deal | OneFootball

Famalicao have completed the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Mathis Jangéal on a five-year contract. The club said in a statement that the 18-year-old Frenchman has joined from PSG.

Jangéal, who turned 18 on 24 June, departs his formative club after a season that brought his first senior minutes. He also won the Coupe Gambardella and the U19 championship.

Explaining his choice, he said he had followed several Portuguese league matches and always dreamed of playing there. On hearing of Famalicao’s interest, he was attracted by the prospect of representing a club he feels has advanced impressively at national and international level.

His exit deprives PSG of one of their most promising academy prospects.

At Famalicao, Jangéal could reunite with winger Oumar Camara, who made the same move a year earlier and then enjoyed a full season in Portugal with 30 matches and five goals in the top flight.
