Francesco Farioli marked FC Porto’s Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira triumph with a social media message, the coach said in a post that he was proud to have contributed alongside his players and staff.

Porto beat Torreense 1-0 on Saturday in Coimbra, Victor Froholdt heading in on 38 minutes from a Pepê cross.

He reflected that leaving a mark on the glorious history of such a giant club is never easy.

He added that bringing joy to the Famiglia Portista is always special, calling it their second trophy together and the 88th in the club’s history.
