Farioli injury update: ‘Brobbey doubtful at Ajax, end of season for Edvardsen’ | OneFootball

Brian Brobbey is a doubt for Ajax in their potentially championship-winning match against NEC Nijmegen. The striker has an ankle injury, said coach Francesco Farioli at the press conference on Friday.

Brobbey is a doubtful case, but Oliver Edvardsen definitely won’t be there. Farioli:

“The last two weeks, we have had some problems. Edvardsen has an injury, so the season is over for him. Brian Brobbey went through his ankle two days ago. He trained individually, we are trying to get him ready for the match on Sunday.”

Goalkeeper Remko Pasveer is fit to play. The 41-year-old goalkeeper was injured in the away match in the Europa League against Eintracht Frankfurt on March 6. However, “Pasveer has fully recovered. Will he play? We’ll see”, according to the Italian.
