Farioli pulled into Fenerbahçe election campaign, Porto exit this summer out of the question | OneFootball

Hakan Safi has put Francesco Farioli at the centre of his Fenerbahçe presidential pitch, though the Porto coach is secure.

According to O Jogo, Safi, who is running against Aziz Yildirim, dreams of hiring the Italian and has presented him as an electoral asset because he knows the league in Türkiye.

Even so, Farioli leaving Porto this summer, particularly for the league in Türkiye, is out of the question.

The manoeuvre reads as campaign positioning rather than a realistic prospect at this stage.

For now, Farioli remains in post at Porto.
