Farioli to assess nine academy players in Porto pre-season | OneFootball

Francesco Farioli will run the rule over nine academy players when Porto report for pre-season at Olival on one July.

According to O Jogo, the Italian has called up Yoan Pereira, Luís Gomes, Tiago Silva, Bernardo Lima, Mateus Mide, João Teixeira, André Miranda, Duarte Cunha and Eduardo Ferreira to join first-team work as the champions begin their title defence.

Farioli has already aligned most pre-season logistics with the sporting department, and the training camp is scheduled in England from 13 July.

There will be some absences, mainly due to the World Cup, and the transfer market could still alter plans, but new faces are certain.

The nine prospects are in addition to João Afonso and André Silva, the two signings already confirmed.
