Leeds midfielder Ilia Gruev has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Boss Daniel Farke hopes to have him back in time for the start of pre-season, however.
“Sadly bad news for Ilia Gruev, his meniscus injury is confirmed,” Farke said.
“It will definitely keep him out for the whole season so he won’t be able to help us for the run in, in the FA Cup or also in the league.
“We expect to have him back more or less for pre-season, probably for the start of pre-season but he won’t feature anymore this season.
“It’s of course not ideal for us and we all feel for him.”
Farke does hope to have Jayden Bogle available, however, after he was forced off against Bournemouth with a foot injury.
“Jayden Bogle got a hit on his foot, it seems not to be too bad,” he said.
“We have to wait right now to see how quickly he can recover and I hope to have him available for the game on Sunday.”
But Sebastiaan Bornauw and Anton Stach are doubts for the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
Farke is hopeful Bornauw will be fit but is less confident on Stach’s availability.
“During the warm up he rolled his ankle and it’s not ideal,” Farke said on Bornauw. “Yesterday it was pretty sore and he was not able to join us in team training but I hope it’s not too bad.
“It seems there is no ligament injury and I hope to have him back in training tomorrow. If he’s back in training he will also be available.
“Anton is not yet in team training but we have obviously a few more days and we will see.
“The first step right now is to have him back in team training sooner rather than later and of course if a key player like him was back in team training, then he also has a chance to be picked because he’s a crucial player for us.
“Let’s see how the next 72 hours go.”
