If the early June DNCG review goes well as envisaged, Bourg-Péronnas would gain about a month on last season’s timetable to build for Ligue 3, the appeal verdict then arriving on 3 July 2025. According to Le Progres, that head start underpins a major rebuild.

The club have targets but may not match rival contracts, so will sell a development project. They want a slightly more mature group, after FBBP 01 were the league’s second-youngest behind Quevilly-Rouen, adding experience, character and players who already know the division.

Even with an administrative green light and any lifting of wage controls, the salary bill should remain similar to this season at 650,000 to 680,000 euros. A heavy refresh is coming, with loans Boulhendi, Do Marcolino, Meyer, Cissé and Boumaaoui returning, and many contracts expiring, including Besic and Slimani.

A draining season also saw an unprecedented number released or sidelined, among them Patrick, Mécheri, Guel, Sylla, Logbo and Conté. Under contract for next term are Mohamed Kara Seye, Quentin Lacour and Cheikh Koité, although Koité may move on given his market value.

Roman Laspalles and Nathan Vitré have a contract amendment and can discuss extensions. About 15 signings are planned across all lines, with sporting director Jean-Patrick Morel already working from National to N3, moves that could accelerate in early June. Coach David Le Frapper’s staff renews automatically if the team stay up, while assistant Boris Berraud will not continue but is expected to remain involved with the association and women’s pathway.
