FC Augsburg extend Yannik Keitel loan from VfB Stuttgart with option to buy | OneFootball

FC Augsburg have extended Yannik Keitel’s loan from VfB Stuttgart for next season, also securing an option to buy.

The club said in a statement that the 26-year-old will remain on loan and that, with a full pre-season, he could contribute more as his character suits the team.

Keitel joined from Stuttgart in the winter and spent the second half of the 2025-26 campaign with Augsburg.

The German is versatile, able to play in defensive midfield and central defence.

His season was disrupted by injuries, restricting him to six Bundesliga appearances for Augsburg.
