FC Bâle make €1.5m move for Caen midfielder Zoumana Bagbema | OneFootball

FC Bâle have lodged a bid for Caen midfielder Zoumana Bagbema as the window nears its end.

According to L'Équipe, the Swiss club were first to act with an offer worth €1.5m, plus about €500,000 in bonuses, for the 22-year-old, who is under contract until June 2028.

In Belgium, La Gantoise have been weighing up a move in recent days, while Göztepe, from Türkiye, are also in the running.

Bagbema has emerged as one of Caen’s key performers, and his Ligue 3 displays have drawn interest late in the window.

A Paris Saint-Germain academy product, he spent a long spell managing knee problems before joining Caen in summer 2023.

He made his first Ligue 3 appearances last season, totalling 17 games.
