FC Bayern are currently working on a deal for Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven, but he is not the only candidate for the record champions. One name is still persistent

At the moment, it is not yet clear whether a deal for Saibari will actually come to fruition. Talks are ongoing, but PSV’s demands are quite high, with the Dutch club asking up to 60 million euros for the midfielder

That’s why Bayern are also looking at alternatives and keeping their options open. What’s more, Saibari’s strengths actually lie more in the center. What if FCB see the Moroccan more as a replacement for players like Raphael Guerreiro and Leon Goretzka, i.e. a hybrid as an 8 and a 10?

Rashford remains a Bayern candidate

Should that be the case, then a player for the wing would have to move to Munich alongside Saibari anyway. And here the name Marcus Rashford continues to persist. According to a report by i Paper, it is still conceivable that FC Bayern will try to sign the Englishman in the summer

The attacker is currently still playing for FC Barcelona on loan, but the Catalans have not yet signed him permanently. What’s more, Anthony Gordon has already moved to the Catalans

According to the report, Barca have not ruled out the possibility of making a move for Rashford after all, but that would depend, among other things, on how much money they could earn. Hansi Flick, among others, is in favour of the Englishman staying

The attacker, who currently has to return to Manchester United for the time being, is said to cost around 30-35 million euros, a sum that FC Bayern could pay and Barca would therefore try to push the price down.
