Bundesliga side FC Koln are on the verge of securing a deal to sign highly rated Tottenham winger Mikey Moore on loan, having submitted an official proposal to the North London club, according to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.

Negotiations between the clubs have reached an advanced stage, with all parties optimistic that an agreement can be finalised in the coming days.

Moore is open to a move to Germany as he looks to secure regular first-team football and continue his rapid development.

While several clubs across Europe – including Championship side Middlesbrough, Scottish giants Rangers, and German outfit Hamburg – have registered their interest in the ‘special’ 18-year-old, Koln have moved into pole position and are now strong favourites to secure his signature.

The move follows a highly productive 2025-26 season on loan with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, where the teenage attacker made 47 appearances in all competitions, recording seven goals and four assists.

His performances in Glasgow earned him the Scottish Premiership Young Player of the Season award and established him as one of the standout young talents in British football.

With Spurs currently pursuing attacking signings, most notably Manchester City winger Savinho, the Lilywhites hierarchy believe another loan spell away from Hotspur Way represents the ideal pathway for Moore’s long-term development.

Spurs have increasingly favoured continental loan moves for their youngsters and reaped huge dividends from Luka Vuskovic’s loan to Hamburg, which raised his profile and led to a lucrative move to Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
