FC Porto announce end of João Moreira loan, defender returns to Brazil | OneFootball

João Moreira is returning to Brazil after FC Porto agreed with São Paulo to end his loan. The club said in a statement on Tuesday that the arrangement had been terminated.

The 21-year-old right-back, a Portugal youth international, made only one appearance this season for the club’s second team.

Last term he featured in 11 matches and scored once.

In January Porto announced the loan had been extended, with a €1.5m purchase option for 70 percent of his economic rights.

That replaced an initial €2m option for 50 percent of the player that had been agreed previously.
