FC Porto B count nine absentees before Sporting B derby | OneFootball

FC Porto B are preparing to face Sporting B with nine players missing, with the final training session set for Saturday morning.

According to O Jogo, injuries and first-team call-ups have left João Brandão’s squad depleted for the II Liga derby, scheduled for 15:30 at the CTFD Jorge Costa.

João Moreira, Martim Cunha, Yoan Pereira and Brayan Caicedo are in the medical room and are expected to miss out.

Felipe Silva, Martim Chelmik, Bernardo Lima, Mateus Mide and Duarte Cunha have been with the senior squad at their Algarve camp and will only return to training with Porto B on Saturday, the day before the game.

Porto B drew 1-1 at Seixal last time out and now meet the side sitting second in II Liga.

On 17 points, they are the first team above the relegation line and have a chance to pull away from Paços de Ferreira and Leixões, who have already played this round.

This is a game in hand from the 16th round of the II Liga.
