FC Porto confirm João Brandão contract renewal until 2028 | OneFootball

FC Porto confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that João Brandão, coach of the B team, has renewed his contract, the new deal running to 2028.

The 43-year-old has completed his second season in charge, leading FC Porto B to fifth in the II Liga in 2025/26.

This term the side won 15, drew six and lost 13 of their 34 matches under Brandão.

It marked clear improvement on his debut campaign, when they finished 14th in the second tier with eight wins, 11 draws and 15 defeats.

Brandão had previously worked within Porto’s youth set-up before taking the B team.
