According to O Jogo, FC Porto continued preparations on Thursday for Sunday’s home game against Arouca, 20:30, in the league’s third round, with seven players on the medical list but two positive updates.

Alan Varela, who worked on a restricted basis on Wednesday, progressed to integrated conditioned training. Oskar Pietuszewski moved from treatment and gym work to conditioned training.

The other absentees are Cláudio Ramos, Vasco Sousa, André Miranda and Samu, all in conditioned training, plus Martim Fernandes, who remains on treatment and gym work.

From the B team, head coach Francesco Farioli brought in defender Luís Gomes, midfielder Tiago Silva and forwards Tiago Andrade, Duarte Cunha, Cardoso Varela and Eduardo Ferreira.

The squad are scheduled to train again on Saturday at the CTFD Jorge Costa.
