FC Porto will face Nottingham Forest with the same four players sidelined, as Martim Fernandes remains out and did not take part in Wednesday morning’s final training session.

According to O Jogo, during the 15 minutes open to the media, the full-back was absent from the pitch. He is not in contention for this match and is expected to return against Tondela.

Fernandes is recovering from a grade 2 sprain of his right ankle, working on treatment and gym sessions. He appears on the medical bulletin alongside Nehuén Pérez, Luuk de Jong and Samu, who are long-term absentees. Pérez is on conditioned training, while de Jong and Samu continue with treatment and gym work.

Francesco Farioli again drafted in B-team trio Gabriel Brás, Tiago Silva and Gonçalo Sousa, regular participants in first-team sessions. Before training began, Pepê, William Gomes and Farioli passed through the customary tunnel.

The Dragons travel to England on Wednesday afternoon. At Nottingham Forest’s stadium from 19:30, a player and the head coach will speak to preview tomorrow’s second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals. The first leg at the Dragão finished 1-1.
