FC Porto to open title defence at home to Alverca | OneFootball

FC Porto will start their title defence at home to Alverca after the 2026/27 I Liga draw was made in Porto on Thursday.

According to O Jogo, the opening round will be played on the weekend of eight and nine August.

FC Porto were crowned champions in 2025/26, lifting the 31st title in their history. Benfica top the all-time list with 38 trophies, Sporting have 21.

The other opening fixtures are: Estrela da Amadora v Sporting, Estoril v Famalicão, Gil Vicente v Rio Ave, Marítimo v Casa Pia.

Moreirense v Braga, Santa Clara v Nacional, Benfica v Académico de Viseu, V. Guimarães v Arouca.
