FCB Women Fan Festival at Sportpark Unterhaching

FC Bayern Women will usher in a new era at Sportpark Unterhaching on 9 August with their final warm-up match before the start of the season against Paris FC (kick-off 16:00 CEST). Before the match against last season’s runners-up in the Première Ligue, visitors can enjoy a Fan Festival from 13:30 CEST with a varied programme for young and old – the perfect way to get to know the double winners’ new home in the first week of the holidays.

It includes a meet & greet with a player from the current squad, Kids Club activities as well as an activation with the FC Bayern basketball team and other sections of the club. The FC Bayern Merchmobile will also be making a special stop in Unterhaching with all the latest FCB fan items. Various food trucks will offer a range of street food delights.

Rech: ‘Want to begin an era here’

Bianca Rech, FC Bayern Women director: “We’re really looking forward to the start at our new home – and to getting to know our new stadium for the first time with our fans. Paris FC finished second last season behind Lyon and ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, so they’re strong opponents for our last match before the Supercup against VfL Wolfsburg. The Sportpark offers us new opportunities for development, we want to begin an era here and we also want to integrate into the life of the community. The Fan Festival is our first hello in South Munich, close to Säbener Straße – to good neighbours!”

The programme - a red and white theme park for young and old

The Fan Festival opens its doors from 13:30 outside Sportpark Unterhaching. You can look forward to a wide-ranging programme before kick-off, with several different areas and interactive activities.

Fan club zone – meet other Bayern fans, chat and experience the unity of the red and white family
Kids Club activities – various stands, a darts board and the Kids Club pavillion will make sure that the youngest fans also get their money’s worth
FCB Basketball – sports fun with a basketball twist on a grand scale: test your shooting skills and discover the world of FCB basketball
Refereeing section – learn more about the work of referees and test your knowledge of the rules
Table tennis section – grab a bat and ball and show off your skills at the table tennis stand
Merchmobile – get FC Bayern Women merchandise direct
Red against Racism – interactive offerings that encourage you to actively engage with social responsibility and social cohesion
‘Girls on the Ball’ – here you can learn more about youth development in girls’ and women’s football
Munich Ravens Area – a throwing wall, the Ravens pavillion, cornhole and other interactive games invite you to have a go, let off some steam and learn about American football
Autobus Oberbayern team bus – get a special look behind the scenes
Audi concept stage – on stage, a varied programme featuring a host, music and a meet & greet with a player from the FCB Women team will keep the crowd entertained
Food trucks & drinks – from coffee & crêpes to burgers and street food, there’s something for every taste.

So, the build-up to the clash with Paris FC will be a real experience, with various activities, on-stage entertainment, culinary delights and all sorts of football fun relating to FC Bayern Women.
