According to L'Équipe, UEFA's technical observers have named Federico Valverde's 3-0 strike against Manchester City in the last 16 as Champions League goal of the season, topping their list of 10.
On 11 March, in the first-leg tie, Valverde hit a hat-trick against City, and his third has been singled out.
After surging into the area, he met a deft scoop from Brahim Diaz and, in two touches, lifted it over Marc Guehi before beating Gianluigi Donnarumma from close range.
Micky Van de Ven's solo run for Tottenham against Copenhagen in the league phase and Luis Diaz's curling effort in the semi-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain completed the top three.
The rest of the top 10 also featured two Paris players, Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia for his strike against Atalanta and Vitinha for his long-range effort against Tottenham, plus Anatoliy Troubine's last-minute goal against Real Madrid that eliminated Marseille in the league phase.
