Felipe Fernandes de Lima to referee Corinthians at Botafogo for third time in 2026 | OneFootball

Felipe Fernandes de Lima has been appointed by the CBF to officiate Corinthians’ trip to Botafogo in the 16th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, on Sunday at 16:00 at Estádio Nilton Santos.

According to Meu Timao, he has taken charge of 16 Corinthians matches, yielding four wins, four defeats and eight draws. He has also awarded one penalty against them and shown 37 yellow cards to their players.

This will be his third Corinthians assignment of 2026 in the league. He oversaw the 2-0 win against Red Bull Bragantino in February and the 1-0 defeat by Internacional in April, both at Neo Química Arena.

The league is where he has met Corinthians most often, with 12 appointments before 2026, including six in 2025. He has also handled one Copa do Brasil match and one Brasileiro Feminino fixture, both more than five years ago.

His assistants will be Felipe Alan Costa de Oliveira and Celso Luiz da Silva, both from Minas Gerais. Alisson Sidnei Furtado of Tocantins is the fourth official, with Marco Aurelio Augusto Fazekas Ferreira serving as VAR, also from Minas Gerais.

Despite beating São Paulo last weekend, Corinthians’ position remains delicate. They are 15th on 18 points, only one ahead of 17th-placed Grêmio, and stayed out of the relegation zone last round due to a combination of results.
