Fellype Bancatelli nets first senior goal as Corinthians hit Vasco 5-1 | OneFootball

Corinthians swept past Vasco da Gama 5-1 on Saturday to reach the Copa LNF last 16. At Maracanãzinho, fixo Fellype Bancatelli scored his first goal for the senior side.

According to Meu Timao, the match carried personal significance for the 20-year-old. His first professional goal arrived in his ninth appearance, four minutes before the interval, finishing a counter after Lucas Martins diverted a Vasco corner and started the move with the number 88. Bancatelli drove into space and placed his shot into the goalkeeper's left corner.

Promoted to the first-team group at the start of the season, he had debuted in 2023 aged 18 as a substitute in an 11-0 win over Tuka Bike Futsal in the Campeonato Paulista.

He spent 2024 and 2025 with the under-20s, captaining the side and standing out. Last year he led a squad that finished third in the Talentos LNF and also won the Taça São Paulo and the Campeonato Paulista at that level.

A futsal prospect at Parque São Jorge since the younger age groups, he collected state and national titles and earned regular Brazil youth call-ups. His most recent involvement came at the 2023 South American Under-18, where Brazil finished runners-up to Argentina.

Now deployed as an ala by coach Fernando Malafaia, he will have the chance to add to his tally on Thursday when Corinthians host Cascavel in round four of the Liga Nacional de Futsal at the Ginásio Wlamir Marques at 20:30.
