Millwall winger Femi Azeez has opened up on his future amid fresh reports linking him with a move to Ipswich Town.
Millwall are preparing for another season in the Championship after missing out on promotion, and it remains to be seen if Femi Azeez is part of their plans.
It was an outstanding season for Millwall, but they suffered frustration on the final day of the campaign as they were beaten to automatic promotion by Ipswich Town.
The Lions then experienced further heartbreak as their promotion dream came to an end with a 2-0 aggregate defeat to Hull City in their play-off semi-final, with goals from Mohamed Belloumi and Joe Gelhardt in the second leg at The Den sealing the Tigers' place at Wembley, where they went on to beat Middlesbrough and secure their return to the Premier League.
Millwall will be looking to bounce back from their play-off defeat and mount another promotion push in the Championship next season, but they could be vulnerable to losing some of their players this summer, with winger Femi Azeez one of those attracting interest from elsewhere.
Azeez, who joined the Lions from Reading in August 2024 for a fee of around £1 million, scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in 35 appearances during an impressive season, and he was the subject of multiple bids from Ipswich in January, but those advances were rejected by the London outfit, despite the fact that one of the offers would have broken their club-record sale.
However, the Tractor Boys have reignited their pursuit of Azeez following their promotion to the top flight, with Football Insider reporting this week that they have had a fresh £20 million bid turned down by Millwall, who are holding out for around £30 million for the 24-year-old.

While many of Azeez's Millwall teammates are currently on their summer break, the winger scored twice on his debut for Nigeria in a 2-0 win over Zimbabwe on Tuesday night to help them reach the final of the Unity Cup, where they will face Jamaica at Charlton Athletic's The Valley on Saturday night.
Azeez spoke to the media ahead of the game, and he admitted that he is keen to continue progressing after making his international breakthrough, with playing in the Premier League his ultimate ambition.
"I had a good season in the Championship and obviously, to do it on the international stage as well was just that next step up," Azeez told Sky Sports.
"Whenever I achieve something, I'm always hungry for more. I'm never satisfied with what I've got.
"I'm always going to work towards that next level because I'm ambitious as a footballer and as a person, and I want to reach as high of a level as possible.
"The Premier League is obviously the pinnacle of football. I'd love to play in the Premier League. So obviously, working hard, I'm going to do whatever I can to get there."
However, while Azeez is aiming to reach the top flight, he also hinted that the play-off heartbreak against Hull will only serve as motivation to the Lions squad as they look to get over the line next season.
"I've had a good season. Put in some good numbers and good performances," Azeez said.
"But as a team, we've done incredibly well to finish third in such a tough competition.
"It's a credit to everyone, obviously the manager, the boys behind, the boys in the team, the guys behind the scenes and whatnot.
"I think we've had an incredible season and obviously it wasn't meant to be for us this season with the play-offs.
"In football, anything can happen. Hull were better on the days.
"Nevertheless, we're all proud of what we've achieved, and we're all hungry for more."

While it appears that Azeez is keen to help Millwall kick on again next season, he made no secret of his desire to play Premier League football, which will certainly be music to the ears of Ipswich.
Tractor Boys manager Kieran McKenna admitted that a deal for Azeez "wasn't attainable" in January, but the Suffolk outfit would surely have the funds to land the winger's signature this summer after the financial boost they will have banked from promotion.
However, while Ipswich's budget will have significantly increased ahead of their return to the top flight, it remains to be seen whether they will be willing to meet Millwall's £30 million asking price for Azeez, with the clubs currently £10 million apart in their valuations.
