Mendy had missed five matches with a biceps problem, then made his comeback as a 79th-minute substitute in Friday’s 1-1 draw with Girona. He was absent for the first leg.

Tchouaméni sits out due to an accumulation of yellow cards, though he has travelled with the squad.

Long-term absentees Thibaut Courtois, thigh, and Rodrygo, knee, also remain out.
