Breno Bidon and Gustavo Henrique greeted media and supporters outside, with Henrique calling the backing wonderful and saying the squad rested well and want to enjoy training before the restart.

André Ramalho stopped to speak, stressing the value of contact with the Fiel. He kept up work in the break, which he felt was vital mentally, to return fit to train.

Club psychologist Anahy Couto called the period a new pre-season, with assessments to shape individual and collective plans, including psychological support.

André Carrillo has extra days off after June international duty and is due back on Monday. Memphis Depay remains at the World Cup with the Netherlands, his return depending on their campaign.

Corinthians have 24 points from 18 matches, 10th and five points off Red Bull Bragantino in the G5. They are in the last 16 of the Copa do Brasil and the Libertadores, to face Internacional and Rosario Central.

They visit FC Cascavel for a friendly on 12 July in Paraná, then host Remo on 23 July in the 19th round. May wages were paid around 20 days late, while image rights due on the 20th remain outstanding.
