All eyes now turn to the FIFA World Cup 26™ Bronze final match as third-place medals are up for grabs when France face England.
This is everything you need to know about this meeting at Miami Stadium.
After their respective semi-final defeats, France take on England as they aim to end a disappointing tournament on something of a high note.
This will be Didier Deschamps' final game in charge of his country after a very successful spell, with the 2018 World Cup™ winners finding themselves in Florida after suffering a 2-0 loss to Spain in their semi-final.
England failed to make the final in much more heart-breaking fashion as the defending champions dragged themselves off the canvas once again in the knockout stages of this tournament.
Despite an Anthony Gordon goal giving them a lead which they held until the final five minutes, Thomas Tuchel's side fell apart in the closing stages and conceded two late goals to come up short at this stage once again.

Both managers may be in line to make plenty of changes to their usual starting sides for this one.
Although his run ended at the semi-final stage, Kylian Mbappé still has the highest Attacking Score (8.93) of any player at the tournament in the FIFA Power Rankings - powered by Aramco, and he may request a chance to remain in the side in a bid to boost his Golden Boot prospects.
With five assists, 94 line breaks and many more impressive statistics, his team-mate Michael Olise has the second highest Creativity Score for the tournament as a whole with 8.23, while Aurélien Tchouaméni has the fourth best Defending Score of 7.36.
For England, only Mbappé and Lionel Messi have a higher Attacking Score at this World Cup™ than England playmaker Jude Bellingham's 8.22, thanks to his six goals and one assist.
Morgan Rogers also makes it into the tournament's top 10 for his Creativity Score of 7.47 and could keep his place in the side after surprisingly starting against Argentina, while Jordan Pickford between the posts provides England with some of the competition's best Goalkeeping Influence scores.
A question worth posing after their semi-final loss: is this France team the best World Cup™ side ever not to lift the trophy?
