FIFPRO announce nominees for men's and women's World 11 | OneFootball

FIFPRO - the global union for professional footballers - have announced their shortlist for the World 11 in both the men's and women's game.

Over 60,000 members have voted for the best players in 2025 with some major names included in this year's shortlist.

The men's nominees list is understandably dominated by PSG stars following their first ever Champions League win.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are also among the contenders for a place in the forward line.

Earlier, the candidates for the women's game were also revealed.

English and Spanish players dominate the list with the likes of Hannah Hampton, Alex Greenwood and Alessia Russo included from the Lionesses.

For La Roja meanwhile, Alexia Putellas, Ona Battle and Aitana Bonmati are amongst the 25 included.

The final XIs will be announced on November 3.
