Figueiredo cleared by medical department, could feature for Palmeiras | OneFootball

Figueiredo has been cleared by Palmeiras’ medical department to rejoin full training and could be available to Abel Ferreira, according to Nosso Palestra.

The clearance was given on Monday, enabling the academy midfielder to take part in all squad activities and be considered for upcoming matches.

He has one senior appearance, against Corinthians in the 2025 Paulistão group stage at Allianz Parque.

His setbacks began with a right knee anterior cruciate ligament rupture in September 2022, sidelining him for about nine months. Shortly after returning, he sustained the same injury in his left knee and required another operation.

In February 2025 he suffered a further right ACL injury during the Under-20 Libertadores. He underwent surgery on 28 February and began rehabilitation the following week under the care of the Núcleo de Saúde e Performance.

Palmeiras face Botafogo in the Brasileirão on 18/03 at 19:00, Brasília time.
