Filipe Coelho leaves Strasbourg to take Casa Pia head coach role | OneFootball

Strasbourg said their assistant coach Filipe Coelho has left to become head coach of Casa Pia in Portugal's top flight.

It marks another change in the club’s backroom team. Liam Rosenior departed mid-season for Chelsea, and Gary O'Neil left at the end of the campaign to join Ipswich Town.

Coelho, 41, entered the BlueCo setup in July 2024 as Chelsea’s under-21s coach. He then assisted Rosenior for 26 matches before working with O'Neil for 27, helping Strasbourg reach the Conference League semi-finals.

Strasbourg are still searching for a head coach following O'Neil’s move to Ipswich.

RCSA begin their season on the weekend of 22 August, against Olympique de Marseille.
