Fire breaks out at Real Madrid superstar’s house; no injuries | OneFootball

According to MARCA, an electrical fire broke out on Thursday morning at the residence of Real Madrid footballer Vinicius Jr., located in the La Moraleja neighbourhood of Alcobendas.

The fire began in the sauna in the basement of the house, which was completely burned out. The emergency call to 112 was made at around 11:00 a.m..

Two units from the Madrid Regional Fire Service were deployed to the scene. They managed to bring the flames under control and ventilate the affected areas.

No injuries

The smoke filled two floors of the property, but thankfully, no injuries or cases of smoke inhalation were reported.

Initial investigations suggest an electrical fault as the cause of the fire. By around 12:00 p.m., firefighters had left the area once the situation was fully under control.

Vinicius, for his part, was not at home at the time of the incident. The Real Madrid megastar is currently in Seoul with the Brazilian national team, along with teammates Eder Militao and Rodrygo.

Under the management of Carlo Ancelotti, Vinicius and Brazil will face South Korea on 10 October (1:00 p.m.) and Japan on 14 October in two friendly encounters.

Having not been called up to the Selecao squad during September’s international break, the Brazilian attacker will be eager to make an impact this time around and further solidify his place in the team ahead of next year’s FIFA World Cup in North America.
