The former center-back talked to the media while attending the Laureus Awards, and one of the topics he addressed was Bastoni’s potential move to Barcelona. He believed this would turn out to be a good move for the Blaugranes:

“His approach to football and his characteristics fit perfectly with Barcelona’s style. He is a very technical defender with great vision of the game.“
