Christos Tzolis - Arsenal

Christos Tzolis is not technically new to the Premier League, following a forgettable stint at Norwich City earlier in his career. However, the Greek international has rebuilt his reputation on the continent before landing at the champions this summer.

Arsenal have spent £34m to sign Tzolis from Club Brugge, following his extraordinary output in Belgium. The 24-year-old scored 22 goals and added 29 assists last season, with only Harry Kane and Michael Olise directly involved in more goals across Europe.

Tzolis has been one of Arsenal's standout performers across pre-season and continued that form with two assists against Manchester City in the Community Shield. His arrival has been understated, but he's shown signs that he could shine in North London.

Johan Manzambi - Aston Villa

Johan Manzambi was one of the breakout stars of the 2026 World Cup, with the Switzerland midfielder producing a series of eye-catching performances in North America.

Manzambi scored three goals and provided two assists in four World Cup appearances, persuadingAston Villa to spend a club-record £59.5m on his services.

The all-action 20-year-old won more duels and drew more fouls than any other Bundesliga midfielder for Freiburg last season, and ranked third in Germany for progressive carries. Morgan Rogers' exit leaves a big void, but Manzambi has the potential to fill it.

Luka Vuskovic - Brighton

Another starlet of last season's Bundesliga campaign,Luka Vuskovic was named in the Team of the Season in Germany. Vuskovic was expected to return to Tottenham Hotspur after an impressive loan spell at Hamburg, but Brighton swooped in with the offer of regular first-team football.

The Seagulls spent a club-record £46m on the Croatia centre-back, who will hope to justify his reputation as one of Europe's most promising defenders.

Geovany Quenda - Chelsea

A deal over a year in the making,Chelsea agreed to sign Geovany Quenda from Sporting CP in March 2025. He officially linked up with the Blues this summer, after scoring six times in 32 appearances last season.

An electric wide presence, Quenda looks perfectly suited to the demands of new Chelsea coach Xabi Alonso, who could utilise the teenager from wing-back.

A record-breaker in Portugal, Quenda became Sporting's youngest-ever goalscorer, eclipsing the record previously held by Simao and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Victor Munoz - Liverpool

Liverpool hijacked Newcastle United's move for Victor Munoz to secure the Spaniard in a £34m deal.

The 23-year-old's breakout campaign in La Liga saw Munoz make Spain's World Cup-winning squad this summer, before heading to Anfield.

Liverpool will hope the winger can replicate his performances from last season, where Munoz was among La Liga's leading ball-carriers. He led the league for accelerations, ranked third for ball-carrying frequency, and sixth for progressive carries.
