Flamengo announce mutual contract termination with Vitória Almeida | OneFootball

Flamengo have announced that forward Vitória Almeida has left the club after her contract was ended by mutual consent.

The club said in a statement that she is no longer part of the professional squad, adding that they wish her success for the remainder of her career.

Her departure on Saturday 28 follows the release of seven other players, a reshuffle that has opened opportunities for academy talents in the senior side.

Almeida arrived in Rio de Janeiro in January 2025 with high expectations, having previously played in Europe for Valencia (ESP).

In 2025 she featured in 30 official matches, scoring 15 goals and providing two assists.

Without Vitória Almeida, the Meninas da Gávea face Botafogo on 13 March in the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino, where Flamengo are second with six points.
