Flamengo fine Carrascal after Palmeiras red card | OneFootball

Flamengo have issued an administrative wage fine to Jorge Carrascal after his third red card of 2026, according to Coluna Do Fla.

The punishment follows the club's internal regulations, and it is the third time the Colombian has been fined this year.

Carrascal was sent off on 20 minutes for a high boot that caught Palmeiras defender Murilo in the face. The straight red left Flamengo with 10 men.

Flamengo went on to lose 3-0, slipping seven points behind the São Paulo side. Palmeiras have 38 points to Flamengo's 31 and have played one game more.

Flamengo host Cusco (PER) at the Maracanã on Tuesday 26 in the sixth and final round of the Libertadores group stage. Carrascal will be available to Leonardo Jardim because the dismissal came in the Brasileirão.
