According to Coluna Do Fla, the club have accepted an offer from Athletic to take youngster Rayan Lucas on loan. The move awaits a response from the midfielder’s representatives, who are reviewing the terms.

Sunday had initially been set for training, but the football department altered plans and granted a rest day. Players are due back on Monday, with the session time yet to be confirmed and the next match scheduled for nine August.

On Saturday, Palmeiras issued a statement criticising the STJD after Maurício was cited for violent conduct. The note referenced Flamengo and Erick Pulgar, and Abel Ferreira’s side received a rebuttal from Flamengo.
