The Maracanã operation run by Flamengo and Fluminense posted a R$ 21.4 million profit in 2025, with R$ 15.3 million approved for dividends to the two clubs.
According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo holds 65% of the consortium, so it is due around R$ 9.95 million, while Fluminense should receive about R$ 5.36 million.
The 2025 result marks a turnaround from 2024, when the pair recorded a R$ 5.3 million loss in the early months of the concession. The improvement could be linked to the start of Bap’s stewardship at Flamengo, which focused on boosting revenue streams.
Beyond match tickets, corporate boxes delivered a significant share of income, with additional takings from the Maracanã Tour, advertising and sponsorships during the year.
Part of Flamengo’s squad are preparing to compete at the World Cup. The rest of the players are on a break and resume official action on 22 July away to Chapecoense in Chapecó in round 19 of the Brasileirão.
Their next game at the Maracanã follows in the subsequent round against São Paulo on 26 July, a home return for the fans.
