Flamengo to hold Portugal training camp during World Cup break | OneFootball

Flamengo announced they will hold a training camp in Portugal during the World Cup break.

Players go on holiday after Saturday’s 3-0 win over Coritiba in the 18th round of the Brasileirão, and return on 19 June to begin preparations for the second half of the season.

On their return, medical tests are scheduled, followed by a week of training before the squad fly to Europe on 28 June.

The team will remain in Europe until 12 July, working in Lagos and Estoril.

Three friendlies are planned in Portugal as part of conditioning for the decisive phase of their competitions. Dates, venues and opponents will be announced by the club.
