Flamengo ‘to lease’ dedicated aircraft after World Cup | OneFootball

Flamengo are negotiating the lease of a dedicated aircraft to improve player recovery and rest between matches. According to GE, the board aim to finalise the agreement after the World Cup in June in the United States.

The plan is to accelerate travel and remove dependence on commercial carriers. At present all trips are chartered, yet the club often cannot choose preferred departure times.

An exclusive deal would keep a plane permanently available, giving Flamengo full control over itineraries. The proposed term is three or four years.

The move is intended to streamline logistics rather than change any competitive schedule. It would place an aircraft fully at the club’s disposal.

Next up, Flamengo travel again for the Brasileiro, facing Bragantino on Thursday in round nine. Kick-off is 21:30 Brasília time, with coverage on Premiere pay-per-view.
