Flamengo’s Alex Sandro and Danilo ‘set to be’ in Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad | OneFootball

With about four months until the 2026 World Cup, two Flamengo players, Alex Sandro and Danilo, are effectively guaranteed Brazil call-ups, fitness permitting, according to Estadão.

They are named among 13 players who would miss out only through injury. Vinicius Júnior, Raphinha and Estevão are also included.

Brazil, fifth in the FIFA rankings, are the top seeds in Group C. They will face Morocco, Scotland and Haiti. The opener is against Morocco on 13 June.

The official squad announcement is due on 19 May.

Carlo Ancelotti will start preparations on 25 May, with the squad set to fly to the United States on one June.
