‘Flight Plan Being Prepared’ – Now Another Former Liverpool Star Going To Trabzonspor | OneFootball

Former Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is on his way to reunite with Mohamed Salah at Turkish giants Trabzonspor, with ‘a flight plan being prepared right now’.

Trabzonspor stunned world football by tempting Salah to the club, snapping up the Egypt international following his departure from Liverpool.

Salah is set to earn £14.5m per year at Trabzonspor and will be hoping he can inspire the club to make a strong push for the Turkish Super Lig title this season.

Trabzonspor are not stopping at the 34-year-old though and are now pushing through a swoop for his former Liverpool team-mate Nunez.

The Uruguayan was sold by Liverpool to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, but is looking for a return to European football, which Trabzonspor will now give him.

According to Turkish outlet HT Spor, a move for Nunez has been ‘agreed under all conditions’.

It is further suggested that ‘a flight plan is being prepared right now’ to bring Nunez to Trabzon in order that the Turkish side can complete the capture.

What the terms of the deal are for the 27-year-old to move to Trabzonspor remains to be seen, but he looks set to play alongside Salah this season in Turkey.

Trabzonspor finished third in the Turkish Super Lig last season.

Liverpool meanwhile are set to have a Uruguayan back on the books once again this season after they agreed a loan deal with Barcelona for defender Ronald Araujo.

The Reds struck a deal with Barcelona for Araujo on Friday and will have him on loan for the campaign, while at the same time holding an option to buy in the deal.

Araujo will be looking to impress and quickly force his way into the Liverpool side under Andoni Iraola in order to convince the Anfield side to sign him permanently next year.
