Florent Ghisolfi is set to approve Milan Aleksić’s loan move to Partizan Belgrade for 2026-27.
Mozzart Sport reports that the 20-year-old has arrived in Belgrade for medical checks, with Partizan expected to take him on loan from Sunderland for the campaign. The agreement is said to include a €1.2m option to buy, around £1.03m, payable in three instalments if triggered.
Aleksić joined from Radnički 1923 in August 2024 on a four-year contract for about £3.1m, but has struggled to secure a first-team place.
He debuted as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Millwall in November 2024, then scored in the FA Cup defeat at Stoke City in January 2025 minutes after replacing Chris Rigg. He spent part of 2025-26 on loan at Cracovia, making eight appearances before returning in January.
In total he has 10 senior outings and one goal for Sunderland. He has yet to score in league football and does not appear to figure in Régis Le Bris’ plans.
A switch to Partizan would return him to Serbian football with a major club and give Sunderland a route to a permanent sale if he impresses. The move fits Ghisolfi’s broader summer reshaping as Sunderland prepare for another Premier League season and a European campaign.
